Sarah Bussey is the creative director at Ivory & co and personally designs every dress in each collection. She studied originally at the prestigious design institution Goldsmiths College (University of London) specialising in bridal design with Hons before working in New York and London.
With over 2 decades experience she knows the aspects which are intrinsic to successful bridal design ; creating styles which are as comfortable and timeless and they are beautiful. Every gown should have true impact and reflect each bride’s personality. All her designs are hand crafted and patterns have been designed using couture techniques to produce stunning silhouettes in luxury silks. Bodices either contain corsetry to provide amazing support for enhanced body shape and confidence, or are soft and deconstructed for sheer comfort and contemporary relaxed styling.
Her designs are diverse to reflect the varying needs of todays brides and can be found in top bridal stockists in the uk and overseas. Her designs are often featured in leading bridal magazines and blogs, and this year she won recognition by being placed 2nd behind Jenny Packham as Best British Bridal Designer in the 2019 British Wedding awards as voted by real brides.
